G'day,

Stephen & Joe--did either of you receive the e-mail I sent out last weekend regarding the closing down of my node? I know Joe is on vacation until next weekend, but from past experience he almost always checks his e-mail remotely.

As for you Stephen, it's unlike you to *not* say anything in reply, so I'm guessing that your @io.com address is no longer valid?

There is a theory which states that if anyone ever discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened.

Ah! But, it is like me to often wait a while before writing a reply.
I'm consistent that way. I not only wait a while before replying in
message areas, but I also often take a while to reply to e-mail
messages. ;-)

Sorry for the uncertainty. In this case, I sent off my e-mail reply
about ten minutes before seeing your post here in the newsgroup.

...By the way, it's good to know that you have easy access
to the newsgroup. Hopefully some conversational thread or another
will catch your interest, and we'll see you post occasionally.

In passing, I'm just getting ready to post my next "death of a mall"
message, and I'm also thinking we should consider a Net249 reunion for
sometime this coming spring or summer.

TTYL, ...Steve

Co-incidentally, I received your e-mail reply shortly after I sent my post to the newsgroup. :-)

Stranger things have happened. :-)
